Tell us about your first kiss. How old were you when this big event happened? Do you remember his or her name? Where did it take place? Were you pleasantly surprised or was it a great big disappointment?
My first kiss that I can remember and had the biggest impact on me took place when I was 14 years old. I was a freshman in high school and it was at my first high school dance. I truly was pleasantly surprised. Yes, I do remember his name because I have been married to him for 31 years.
I think I was twelve and it was a neighbor. Neither one of us knew what we were doing and as I remember it wasn't that great. But I did go back to school and tell all my friends and that seemed to be the exciting part. We talked about it for weeks.
My first kiss was in 2nd grade when the young suitor presented me with his mother's wedding ring (diamond and all ... lifted out of his mother's jewelry box that morning) and asked me to marry him. He firmly planted a kiss on my lips. I was furious and came home to tell my mom but wondered if I could keep the ring. Uh, no and we called his mother to return the ring.
Tee hee hee. My first kiss was outside my parent's back door as I was kissing Keith goodbye (he had come by for something - to bring me homework? I forget now). What I do remember is that I completely puckered up like a fish and was so embarrased about the whole ordeal. He never told anyone I couldn't kiss (he was much more experienced than I, ha ha) - for that, I was very grateful. I'm still friends with his family today and make it a point to visit with his mom (he's in another state) a few times a year. The 'kiss' happened in 1983.

I was 15 and his name was Gary. It was in the hallway of the 200 building at my high school. At the time I thought i had died and gone to heaven.

I remember, but I wish I'd waited. My first boyfriend was kinda...lame.
Same with me Kelly, but i have sure made up for it since that time!
My first kiss was in middle school (yeah, I know, kinda young). It was ok, I guess :-) As ok as it can get when you're 13, LOL.
8th grade, Fels Planeterium (Franklin Institute) Philadelphia. School field trip. Won't post names.
