I am thankful that my parents who are 80 and 84 are healthy and still in my life.

I am thankful for my husband of 31 years and my two sons.

I am thankful that I have a great relationship with my brothers and sister and our families bring much joy into each other's lives.

I am thankful in this time of economic instability, that my husband and I have stable jobs.

I am thankful that I live in the United States and I am extremely thankful for our military that keeps us safe.

I am thankful that there are many other things I could list here but realize that they are far less important than the things I have already listed.

I'm thankful for a healthy, happy (mostly) child, I'm thankful for a husband who loves me, a family that is always there for me, a mother in law who loves me like her own, America the beautiful, God's amazing love, and the ability to celebrate with loved ones each year.

I am thankful for my mom who is 82 years old. Despite losing her husband (my Dad) of 59 years a year ago and her oldest son (my brother) 15 years ago, she continues to muddle through. Her health isn't the greatest, and I feel bad for her especially this turkey day as now she cannot have any gluten or fructose! But, she's figuring out how to make gravies without flour! :-)

I'm thankful for my husband and best friend.

My son. The apple of my eye.

My brother and sisters, niece and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. I am so thankful we are all close. That my son gets to see his cousins (some are old enough to be his parents, ha ha) and second cousins.

(I know it looks like I'm copying Nina - LOL!)

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I am thankful for my family as well. I have been blessed with a good upbringing, education, marriage. My children are all healthy.

I am thnakful that one particular soldier has survived his tour in Iraq, though not all of his company has. My nephew is coming home from Iraq within the next two weeks. He may be on his way already. He will be stationed down south, and won't get leave to come home before Christmas. He will be celebrating Thanksgiving with his southern friend whenever they land and are able to go to his friends' home. I am grateful for the Southern hospitality that prompts a young wife to welcome my nephew to her table on the very day she is reunited with her husband after an absence of more than a year. God bless those southern girls!

I am thankful for my job. I am also thankful for the nearly 20 years my husband has had his, though he'll be finishing there soon.

Like the Pilgrims, I am grateful for friends to lean on in tough times, for the blessings of food and shelter, for the freedom to practice my Faith.

Hey Mom

No it doesn't look like you are copying me. I know most of our crowd is really family oriented. I love reading what everyone has to say regardless of if it is being repeated multiple times, so please don't hesititate to mention it even if it has been said before.

Thanks

I am thankful for a supportive family who understands me and encourages me through the twists and turns life throws.

I am thankful for a healthy nephew who a little over a year ago was born 6 weeks early. His constant giggling, jabbering, and screeching (his nickname is little bird!) are proof that his lungs are healthy. His bright eyes and adorable grin are proof he has completely captured my heart.

I am thankful for an amazing new job which was dropped in my lap. I am especially thankful for the positive feedback I have received lately from those I work with, which signifies my hard work is being recognized!

I am thankful for a boyfriend of one year whose goal is to support while challenging, who I can laugh with on the stupid inside jokes and predicaments we inevitably end up in. I am so grateful that he loves me for who I am, even in glasses and sweats with cramps :)!

I am thankful for education, the ability to move ahead as far as any person wants. For the opportunity to learn and grow and change.

I am thankful to live in a country with freedom, both religious and personal. That I am able to worship my God in public without persecution is something many do not have the opportunity to participate in.

Like the rest of you, there is so much more I am thankful for... I'm thankful you posted this thread so we can all hopefully get our hearts and minds in a place where gracious thoughts abound.

I'm thankful for many things, and one of the them is a group of friends that I've made over the last few years. It's taken time to get them, and now I'm really pleased to have them all in my life.

I have a son who has been to Iraq twice, once he volunteered to go and help out as a prison guard for the Army. He is a crew chief in the Navy. Twice he has safely returned.

My family as a whole have what we need and more, unlike so many others today.

My family, those that are left, all keep in touch and have a great deal of love for each other. Those family members that have gone on have left me with so many life lessons, enough to fill a book. Simple and humble people that cared enough for me to share themselves like only family can.

I am also thankful for an empty tomb and a risen Saviour that years ago set in place a way for man to redeem himself.

In this spirit of Thanksgiving I wish each of you continued blessings, and safe passage as we travel on this voyage we call life.

I was at Whole Foods this morning (buying organic horseradish for Thanksgiving!) and seeing all of the beautiful, expensive food they have there, it occurred to me again how very lucky that I am to have been born in the time and place I was. I don't have everything I want, but I have so much more than most people in this world - I am thankful for that.

I am thankful for my family, who love me unconditionally. I am thankful to have had my mother for 34 years of my life; Friday would have been her 70th birthday and I miss her very much. She was a really good person, not perfect but she had a kind heart and integrity and she always supported her daughters in every way she could.

I'm thankful for the little pleasures in life: good food, good TV, good books, waking up and realizing it's the weekend and you don't have to get up yet, my kitties, cute shoes. So many things.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for my amazing husband, our four well-adjusted and delightful children, and that we are all healthy and happy. I'm thankful that my husband and I both have jobs and that we have enough money to pay the bills with something left over. Most of all, I am thankful for the ability to realize how blessed we are, even in hard times.

Happy Thanksgiving and much happiness to all of you.

I have so much to be thankful for. A best friend who made it home from Iraq, married me, gave me two beautiful boys, and after 5 years of marriage still tells me he loves me at least 10 times a day.

I have a mom and dad who would do anything for me(or anyone for that matter), and two sisters who, even with their own families and hectic lives are always there when I need them.
I'm also thankful that my husband and I have stable jobs and are able to provide for our family during these troubling times.

There really is so much more, I couldn't even begin to list them all.

Oh, and I'm deep frying a turkey today for the first time and I will be thankful if I don't burn it:-)

I am thankful for my friends and family. I'm thankful for my job and the fact that I'm not one of the thousands that are becoming unemployed.

I'm also thankful for a great group of ladies who make me laugh and give me something to do online, LOL!

I am thankful for my faith and the personal relationship that I have with God and Jesus Christ. My life has never been easy and I have had many struggles, as I'm sure we all have had at one time or another. What gives me comfort is knowing that God will never forsake me and will always love me. And that I am here, along with everyone else, for a purpose.

I am thankful for my family.
I am thankful for all of my blessings.
