Enough of the amusement parks!
Cute episode! Though I felt for them; the little ones looked so hot!
Leah was adorably proud of her spider-killing skills.
I understand they have 8 kids, but can they go anywhere and have a nice, drama free day? I am trying to see the good, but Kate is always freaking out about something.
This was a somewhat fun episode. Kate seemed more relaxed on this outing than others. I would like to see them get back to filming day to day things with the kids and maybe just playing with other kids in the neighborhood.
I liked this episode. I'll give it a B+. I have no problem with the amusement parks. It may be done in conjunction with filming, but parents with kids the age the Gosselin kids are would definately be doing time at the amusement park (I remember those days!)
I loved that Mady thought she wouldn't have a good time, but ended up enjoying herself. I was impressed that all the Gosselins seemed to stay pretty "cool" despite it being 113 degrees or however hot it was (poor Leah looked so spent at lunch).
The little girls looked adorable in their swimsuits. They actually were a little hard to tell apart from the back. It seems the summer sun has lightened Hannah and Leah's hair closer to Alexis' natural coloring.
Considering how hot it was for this family, it seemed a good time was had by all. Kate seemed the most relaxed I have seen her in a long time and kids really seemed to have fun. This did actually seem like a family outing and not something that the producers were trying to mold a certain way. This episode reminded me of why I started watching in the first place.
I can't imagine what it must be like having eight kids, especially six toddlers! I can't even imagine the anxiety and the stress of taking them to a big public place. It's must be hard enough just keeping track of them at home, but taking them out to an amusement park I'm surprised the parents can handle that as well as they do. Saying: "I know they have 8 kids, but can't Kate go anywhere without the drama" just doesn't seem fair. Change places with them for a week before you judge. If it was me I'd probably be ready to start drinking! Before you write in, "it's a joke"!

Can't agree more. How do people with large families handle it? How do they find time to give individual attention and care to each child, especially if they are all very young. In Jon and Kate's case, there aren't much older siblings to assign a younger one to. How in the world do they afford it? I'd say Kate is doing a pretty good job, considering their ages and the constant scrutiny from the public.
Just wanted to say how much I love the ProudPapaGifts website. After seeing the ad for weeks I finally decided to look at the products. Very cute. Maybe we should send a gift to Jon for putting up with all the attention, he sure doesn't seem like he's looking for it!
Thought this show was boring and it seems that Jon and Kate are making every attempt to get along better and not snap at each other so much. Maybe that was why it was boring. HA I guess Jon and Kate can't win.
