Child Advocacy 101

Over to the left here is a logo I found for Child Advocacy. To those of you who have been fooling around here today, I displayed this so you wouldn't forget what your mission is. You have kept me busy. However, I went over to your house and took some lessons and I am getting pretty good at hitting the reject button.

This is freaking hysterical. I love it.

You're a riot Nina Bell. Love it!

LMAO, Ninabell.

Hang in there, girlie. Every harassing message you delete (or save for evidence) is more proof that "child advocacy" is the furthest thing on their minds.

Hopefully everyone who has expressed such passion in the way that Kate & Jon are bringing up their kids ... is also passionate about watching out for the children that they see in their own neighborhoods. I mean, THESE are the kids that you can personally witness harm being done to them. THESE are the kids that you can personally comfort and help. So please reach out to these kids who need help...right in front of you.

i dont think its really about child advocacy or making sure that the kids arent exploited on TV

it may have started off with that aspiration/intent - but quickly turned into a witchunt mentality

its really about how people feel insulted and lied to that the parents are crying poor when they live the good life

The "mission" of GWoPpers is a moving target. Every time you counteract one of their assertions, it changes to something else. Logic is not their strong suit, as a whole.

I love the poll. Though my preferred usage is "GWoP".

Nina, I can't believe these fools are still at it!? They must have NO clue how they appear to the majority of rational individuals.

I don't know how you keep your sanity, but you have my admiration and gratitude for dealing with this b.s. and keeping the blog running (seemingly) effortlessly.

LOVE the new poll!

Nina, thanks for all you do. This site is a pleasure to be a part of.

I lurked on GWOP for a while, and just can't handle it anymore. I found a tiny few things that were rational, but mostly just rants. Thanks for having such a nice place to go to and chat without all the craziness. :)

too bad you have to put up with such moronic ppl! i haven't even had the chance to post on "jodi's video" yet...still reading the comments...this is the backlash from that said video! they can't handle that it hasn't changed one iota of a thought for most of us!

these ppl are making this their hobby (albeit, full time hobby) to try and "take down" the G's. "saving the children" is apparently NOT their mission!

you've got patience and will and i applaud you for it ;)

I like this symbol for child advocacy and I guess I really don't get the joke here. Must say you all think something is very funny. The only mission I see on either site is letting people of opposing views express themselves. If that's not a forum you like then don't go there. Same thing to those who only go to the other site. Freedom of speech is a two way street.

Barbara,

The joke here is that yesterday I was inundated with nasty e-mails and comments from people trying to find out who fgf is because she revealed some information about a secret message board. The joke here is that there are a group of individuals that state they are advocating for the children but instead spend a lot of time over here harassing me. The joke here, Barbara, is that I had to close down Open Discussion because it seemed to be a playground for their behavior.

Okay, got it. Thanks. It is your board and you are entitled to close or open any discussion as you see fit. Thanks for the clarification. Still like the logo.
