Queens Woman Expecting Sextuplets

I found this article regarding a woman in Queens who is expecting sextuplets. Click here to read.

This article was written on 09/07/08 but you can go here for an update dated 10/01/08: Mother of sextuplets ordered to rest .

It will be interesting to follow this story and see how this family with definite concerns regarding finances and living space handle these issues.

Best wishes to this family.

This is so wonderful for my peeps! (lol) Wow I had no clue that there were only one set so far here and only 200 total. I hope that they all survive and do well. I wonder if they were conceived naturally? Thats alot of babies to feed and pay for. They to be schooled by Kate & gets those kids a show stat!

Coming to TLC in 2011!

Seriously, I wish them the very best. Sounds like they have been through a whole lot.

The mom seems like a tiny litle thing. I hope she can hang on as long possible to give them the best chance....

Well, if Jon and Kate are looking to donate their stuff when their kids outgrow them, it sounds like this family is certainly in need. Plus, it would be good P.R. for them to do that (oh, I'm sorry, I mean damage control for all you lurking GWoPpers).

Why do I foresee a visit from Ty Pennington and ABC in this family's future? Small home and a dad who had his salary cut in half? Just the kind of weepy, tear jerking story that ABC likes to hammer us with on Sunday nights. I cannot watch that show without bawling.

I wish this family the best. Some of the comments posted on that news site were so mean. :(

Baby Mama, she took fertility drugs, but I'm not sure which.
She is bitty, only 5 ft. How can she carry so many and still breathe? These situations are always so scary for the mother and the babies.
Did any one see the OMG we're having sextuplets! The poor woman couldn't even stand except to get on the scale because the pressure of the babies cut off the blood to her legs. On that special, it was interesting to see how just feeding the infants took so much time and helpers. It was a nonstop job.
Wishing this family well and many blessings!

Did she take fertility drugs? I missed that in the article?

Off topic, did anyone see the new LPBW? It was really heartwarming to see Matt in Iraq. I think he is a genuine guy.

I was interested to find out if this was a natural or medically helped situation. She did use fertility drugs.

I thought the comments were so nasty and racist, I couldn't even read through them.

Sick....

NMD, I agree with what you said above.

On a more positive note, congratulations to all Phillies fans! You guys should be very proud.

Bless this lady's heart; I hope she ends up in good health with healthy babies. And I hope she gets all kinds of donations to help with those babies, too!

She did use fertility treatments. This many babies are never conceived without medical help.

I just heard on the news these babies were born earlier this month and haven't been named yet, but still referred to as baby a, b, c, etc. born at 25 wks.
